Membership is open to female cyclists thirty years of age or older and male cyclists thirty-five years of age or older. The age of the cyclist is taken at the end of the year of membership (a male rider turning 35 in October of this year is eligible for membership this year).
Membership is obtained through one of the VVCC affliated clubs.
Fees for 2011 are as follows:
- Insurance; $55.00
- VVCC membership; $35.00
- AVCC afiliation; $10.00
- a total of $100.00
- plus whatever the individual club fees may be.
All monies must be paid to the club of choice and the official application for membership form completed and lodged with the club. The appointed official of the club then forwards the necessary documentation to the state treasurer. Your racing licence will be posted to you.
NOTE : New members may join after Oct. 1st of the current year but must turn 35 (male) or 30 (female) before Dec. 31st of the following year.
The VVCC allows members to hold dual membership with the Australian Cycling Federation
(payment of full fees to the ACF is necessary).
